Is it any "social issue"?

Is it anything not related to the primary purpose of the "public space"?


I don''t know how "public space" is defined, either. The MCG is not some place where people can just wander like a public square.

I have a great deal of admiration for you and everyone else who kept the flame flickering – making banners, writing to MPs, turning up to Flinders Street Station to protest every Friday night – when it seemed most people couldn’t care less. Pressuring Australian politicians to in turn pressure the US government to release Assange, to the extent that it actually became widely supported government policy here, was a remarkable achievement and proof that political activism works when people are dedicated enough and don’t give up.
