Great win under the circumstances! In a way, winning while not playing at our best means we have a lot more improvement left in us. Shultz outstanding under the pressure of having to score in the last quarter. Also a shout out to McStay who did some important things to keep the ball in our forward line.

A lack of pressure to start with followed up by 3 quarters of persistent effort.
Nick Daicos goals gave tehm belief
Sidey a quarterback style game. What a player.
Cameron huge again.
What a relief for Schultz to shake that monkey off his back after two early misses that should have been kicked. A triumph of persistence that hopefully he can build on from here. Is he the leading goal kicker for the side at the mo? It feels like it coule have been much more.
Probably ending up a win short of finals but so good to see them stay the course and fight yo live another day.

We are clearly in their heads and this loss will cost them. Shutlz enormous in the last qtr. Q's run down was the Q to win. We are mathematically a chance but the loss to the Swans is what will cost us.

Great game by all and sundry, players, coaches, and our great supporters who were enormous all night! Shocking inept bias crap dished out again by the maggots…tried to steal that one for the Lions but the boys said “Nah, not tonight you filth!”…Crazy as it sounds I feel so much better going into the 4th trailing by 3 goals than leading by 3…played like we wanted to win it not save it. Good strategy and structures by Fly and coaching team…beat Fagan tonight on the whiteboard.

Massive effort by some of the old boys…Sidey, Howe, Moore, The Hosk…fantastic all night! Sarge stood up when needed…has been outstanding all season with his pressure and tackling (for a while there was the only one sticking them) and has also hit the scoreboard. McReery probably one of his best…this is the standard you need to bring to every game from here on in Beau.

Noble was getting exposed in defence and cost us a few but geez he was good when taking it on. Maynard and Q solid performances as always. Josh was good but disposal still needs tidying up…nearly every kick either gets halved or is intercepted. McStay is better than I gave him credit for and was critical in lots of plays tonight. Bobby in and out but when he’s in OMG he’s a star.

Not a great game by Pendles or Crispy or Mason but were important in dire circumstances. Cameron was awesome but still only broke even against the Big O.

We’re still alive for now…I’m a believer! Bring on the Dees next week. Go Pies!!!!

I’m so glad I went to the game today. You can never say the players have given up or are just playing the season out. I noticed Lachie being embraced by the coach just before they left the ground and they were both so happy. It was great to see. Fantastic win regardless of what happens next week. I still think we’ve had a great 3 years of football from this side.
