I know the season’s not over yet, but given the result of this weekends game is likely irrelevant I thought I could start this thread now:
Best 3 wins
1. Rd 4, beat Brisbane comfortably when we were staring down a disaster
2. Rd 8, nail biter vs the Blues with Nick’s match winner very late
3. Rd 14, came from the clouds vs North
Worst 3 losses
1. Rd 19, belted by the Hawks by plenty in an insipid effort. Felt like this game was when the players figured out they weren’t gonna go back to back.
2. Rd 22, lost to Sydney by 3 when we controlled the entire game. Will be the one that got away.
3. Rd 12 vs Doggies. Started red hot, didn’t take all our chances and ran out of steam as Bont took control. Felt the season started to run out of momentum here.

Best 3:
1 & 2 - Carlton. Always Carlton. Twice in a season. The most recent one as # 1.
3 - Brisbane last weekend.
Worst 3:
1 Sydney a couple of weeks ago.
2 Hawks
3 Gold Coast

Best 3
So many moments but my best
1. Beating Carlton - both of them but especially both of them - Naicos goal and SP400
2. Beating Brisbane - both of them, Elliot at the Gabba, Naicos and the team’s last 5minutes at the G
3. Pies win over Port Adelaide - first win at home this year and the first time we saw Pies footy. WHE’s marks, Hill electrifying, Naicos kicking, Cox’s tap, Lippa’s team goals, De Goey’s moves. Cameron all round.
Worst losses
3. GWS opening round, what a joke AFL! But this loss set the early tone
2. GCS, this might be the most important loss after the bye, players resting and going to theme parks. I can’t say it wasn’t good for the players and staff but when you compare the results for that month, the method and the lack of go it stands out.
1. Belted by Hawthorn - I don’t like losing to them ever, closely behind Carlton and Essendon but getting belted is worse. We always seem to get belted when they have even half a sniff

Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark of the last quarter

Best 3:
1. R21 vs Carlton = Did it for Pendles in his 400th game and McGovern misses after the siren.
2. R8 vs Carlton = Nick kicks the match winner.
3. R23 vs Brisbane Lions = Dramatic late comeback to snatch victory.
Worst 3:
1. R19 vs Hawthorn = Worst performance of the season and our biggest losing margin since Fly became senior coach. Beaten from start to finish.
2. R2 vs St Kilda = Incredibly annoying to lose to an average opponent. First time since 1999 we started the season 0-3.
3. R22 vs Sydney = Led for most of the night and squandered a 27-point lead and effectively killed off any chance of playing finals. The non-50 to McStay was shocking.
