Tay Adams must be worried with his own form at the moment and the squeeze for spots in the finals. Parker was dominant last night b the dons when they needed a forward and kicked a few goals. Adams missed tackles and kicked out on the full from 30m on a slight angle and was subbed out
Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark

It’s no surprise. He literally went to a team where he would always be a fringe player when they are at full strength and his disposal would be exposed v superior players on their list.

It occurred to me that even if the Pies can’t make it to the grand final and defend the premiership, there’s probably a better chance that Jack Ginnivan can.
Depends on how bad GWS want this flag; this is their window - enough of their sooking from years gone by.

Yeah piedys they’re looking strong again at the right time plus they’ve already qualified for the finals which helps. Be a shock result if we beat them by 1 point again in the prelim.

I thought Lachie Keefe was good for them in moments late again yesterday

Totally; and I'm thinking the MCG holds no fears for them, regardless of their opponent.

He is a big man; Buckley's idiotic decision to delist him set us back a couple of years, 2019 in particular.
Would love to have Lachie back for a year or two, should he depart GWS at seasons end for whatever reason.

Adam Treloar is making a compelling case to be named All-Australian for the first time ahead of his 250th AFL game

'Treloar put in another best-on-ground performance on Sunday, gathering 40 possessions as the Bulldogs dismantled ladder leader Sydney...'
I can't recall - are we still paying him for this f$cking fia$co?
Yes. Until the end of 2025.

But if it makes ya feel better, think of it this way. We're not paying him to play for the Doggies... We're paying him $$ we were supposed to pay him years ago. Our guys took advantage of his innocent, nice-guy personality. Kept getting him to agree to put the money owed off till later.

Who would we all most like to see get a premiership medallion out of Adams, Grundy, Keeffe, Henry, Treloar, Poulter, Ginnivan and Aish? (Apologies if I’ve missed anyone there!)

For me, it’d be, in order:

1. Keeffe
2. Adams
3. Probably not the most popular choice here, but Ginnivan – I still can’t help liking him despite it all

Keefe and Treloar for me.
I would have included Adams but that's likely to mean Grundy gets one too.

^ Grundy, of course. He carried our nearly useless team to the brink of a flag - but there were too many garbage players around him (Treloar, especially) for him, Langdon, Pendlebury and Sidebottom to get them over the line.

Well firstly that’s the greatest load of tripe ever posted
The 2018 GF Adam’s and Treloar nearly dragged the team over the line
Sidey was beyond useless taken out of the game completely and was basically a liability
Langdon while he took some uncontested marks which fell into his arms in the zone defence we played ultimately cost us the GF. His first of 5 howling errors in the 1st quarter being unable to knock a ground ball through goals from 1ft away turned the entire momentum.
Fast forward to the last term when he gives away a free kick on the outer wing and while he’s sitting on the ground he grabs the ball and hands to his opponent who’s standing up. The ball is then kicked into the pocket where the winning goal is kicked. In a low scoring game Langdon was credited with 4 goals 3 behinds being kicked on him
Lastly Grundy was owned at the contests. He may have done ok around the ground but he couldn’t hit the ball within 8 feet of our midfield putting them on the back foot all day.
It was amazing really Adam’s Treloar JDG and Pendles where able to keep us in the game so long considering the service they got from the million dollar disaster

Of the former players still playing elsewhere
Treloar has the best chances to win a flag followed by O’Keefe
Sydney can’t win unless Heeney Gulden Parker Rowbottom Warner Mills all play blinders
They’ll struggle getting their hands on the ball first unless they read the opposition rucks tap work because they’ve learned already Grundy has no clue where the balls is going and if he does win a tap it will fall within 3 feet of his feet so he can fall on it and try to get a useless stat.
Based purely on the seasons performances champion data have Grundy ranked the 322nd best player in the competition. Over his last 8 games he’s ranked the 511th ranked player in the game.
He’s also ranked the 11th best ruck in the game
He’s a liability to there chances. They would be better off playing Heeney as a forward and using McLean in the ruck

Fun fact ~

According to Champion Data - Jack Ginnivan is currently the worst kick at goals in the AFL.

Treloar will never win anything. It doesn't matter how many disposals he has or how many "Champion Data" points he gets - he's a soft loser. He was a soft loser with us, almost singlehandedly cost us the 2019 preliminary final and did singlehandedly lose the premiership for Footscray when they played Melbourne. In less than 2 minutes of elapsed playing time while Bont was finally forced to take a breather in the third term of that Grand Final, Treloar was so dismal in the centre square that Melbourne scored 5 consecutive goals and ended the contest.

I suppose it is possible that he will win by accident because the rest of his team (ie, Bont - because they have no other talented players) carries him - if he does, he will be the least-deserving premiership medal recipient in the history of the VFL/AFL.

Firstly Treloar isn’t a inside mid so he should have never played there
Right now as it stands (when the voting went black) he’s top 10 in the coaches votes, will likely finish 2nd behind Bont in there B&F and will be second highest Brownlow vote getter for the dogs
As for champion data for this season he’s ranked the 13th best player in the game (Bont is ranked 4th)
This season he’s averaging 32 touches per game and is ranked #3 for effective disposals per game, 1st in total disposals, 2nd in total effective disposals for the season
He’s also 9% points ahead of Sidey in kicking efficiency this season (7% over there careers in comparison)
Treloar is ranked in the top 20 in all scoring measures as well
Sidey isn’t ranked in top 20 in any stat other than average clangers/turnovers per game

Look I get you never wanted Treloar in the first place and then we decided to play him out of position and then he was decent enough to take constant contract changes (which lead to us owing him a small fortune) during his time at Collingwood (he wasn’t on his own Pendles Sidey and Crisp all had there contracts adjusted to fit in players at various times)
Simple fact and it’s undeniable right now he’s playing in the position that suits him and he’s having a stellar season and depending on the rest of the team he’s could win a much deserved premiership medal
