^ With a bit of luck, he'll win a Brownlow, so Woewoedin and Liberatore Snr don't have to feel quite as embarrassed about theirs.
Any ranking system that has Treloar 13th-best in the competition is a stupid ranking system.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am getting the feeling that you don't rate Treloar too highly!

Watch the Richmond hawks game - Ginni is a total fraud. Didn’t deserve his first medal and certainly not a second. Reckon he will be passed by others at the hawks.

I’m not too sure about that. He is still young and has many more years to shine. This is a very sad chapter for Collingwood but we will survive this one like the many other stuff ups in the past (especially not choosing John Kennedy ahead of John Cahill as coach years ago). Live and learn, easier said than done.

I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm

He was pretty much protected during our 2023 finals campaign playing as the sub in the physically hardest game we had to play against GWS and was allowed to be invisible for most of the time in the grand final. Hawthorn will have higher expectations of him, so that wont happen this time. Opposition teams will put the work in on him and will know he drops off if things get physical. When the pressure goes to finals level there will be nowhere for Ginnikins to hide. I cant wait to see it personally.

Just named again on the HFF in the 22 under-22 team, of course.

Jaidyn Stephenson not picked for today's game? Still has one year left of his current contract.
Since joining the Roos his win / loss is 8 wins and 59 losses. Wonder if his hubris has finally landed? He'll probably end up at Hawthorn next year...

Only the 2 goals, 2 goal assists and 23 disposals for Ginnivan today. No wonder his team could only win by 124 points.

And Ben Reid... The club screwed over the simple goody goodies Treloar and Reid... While giving a fortune to a dopey ruckman who can't mark and can't direct hit outs to teammates.qldmagpie67 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2024 2:01 pm...
Look I get you never wanted Treloar in the first place and then we decided to play him out of position and then he was decent enough to take constant contract changes (which led to us owing him a small fortune) during his time at Collingwood (he wasn’t on his own Pendles Sidey and Crisp all had there contracts adjusted to fit in players at various times)
Simple fact and it’s undeniable right now he’s playing in the position that suits him and he’s having a stellar season and depending on the rest of the team he’s could win a much deserved premiership medal

Gobsmacking how often Grundy is dropping easy uncontested marks.K wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 3:57 pm Brodie Grundy was rightly roasted on Footy Classified for his pissweak dropped mark... Easy uncontested overhead mark in defence with 1:50 left, Syd trailing Freo by 1 point.
You can watch it here:

Sheesh, Grundy is an atrocious mark... He's lucky it didn't cost Sydney a goal, which woulda sealed it for Freo. (Freo kicked a point shortly after.)
e.g. 2) Sydney v. Collingwood
[6:19] left in Q1: Maynard dumps a kick out of defence straight to Grundy standing all on his own. Grundy drops an easy uncontested chest mark.

e.g. 3) Essendon v. Sydney
[17:58] left in Q4: Grundy drops an easy uncontested overhead mark. Worse, the ball slips through his hands to the back, straight to Ess. oppo who's fallen over & sitting on the ground.
Reminds me of cricket fielder on boundary dropping sitter AND letting the ball deflect over the rope for 6. If you're gonna drop a sitter, at least drop it forward so it doesn't cost 6 runs!!

Now THAT would be ironic [and funny], as they could rival Swans as the Collingwood Dumping ground...

So, will it be Ginnivan or Grundy that lifts the Cup?

Would prefer one of Bont, Toby or Zorko, over those two...

Definitely won't be seeing the Million Dollar Dud with an AA blazer, what a disaster. Could he be dropped from another club when he goes missing in September yet again?
Good to see Adam Treloar rewarded for his great season, people who think Grundy is a gun and Treloar a dud clearly know absolutely nothing about football.
Imagine falling so in love with a footballer you want them to succeed at the expense of the club you claim to support...
