The umpiring in this game has been pathetic! Far too many frees for a final, and soft ones at that.

Aren't you allowed to tackle now? We know the bump is out of the game. The first three Hawks goals came from ridiculous frees against Port. It gave them real momentum when they were as flat as tacks. Adelaide people will rightly be asking how badly the AFL wants to keep Hawthorn in the finals since only Geelong remains as a Victorian side if they lose. Frankly I tend to agree with them. The AFL is now as scripted as the NBA and the NFL.
