I got back to work and there was a lot of drama before I left as there was some urgent work to be done. I said too bad I am out of here, you've had six months' notice. Well, I have been back since Monday and the work hasn't been touched so I am taking next week off and flying to Bali on Saturday. I laughed and said, "What odds can I get that nothing will be done when I return?"

Hehe,good for you!

Raygun.

I mean come on!

And the comments from “Kath and Kim” to “Aust cricket team midfielder” , “this is what participation medals gets you’ to “Thankyou, now I can feel that Itoo could make an Olympic team!

WTAF!

Good on her for having a go, but the selectors could have walked around the CBD of any city or a kids playground and found better!

Thing is, Raygun actually had to go through a competitive selection process.

It was definitely weird, she went off the reservation from what we think of Breakdancing into something more like interpretive dance but hey, good on her. She had fun and did it her way. I just hope the social media pile on doesn't drag her down, but it looks like the rest of the Aus Olympic Team appreciates her.

Most likely Breaking will never be in the Olympics again so she becomes both an instant meme and trivia question.

Our chinese neighbours, Yvonne and Barry ( I love how they give themselves new names, the Vietnamese who own the deli down the road are Billy & Lucy) Mum & Dad have moved in with them, don't speak a word of english.

Their baby, Luna (about 18months) loves playing with the black rocks in our front yard and my grandys (Aria & Hayes) join in. Aria heard the Grandma talking to the Mum in Chinese and a few minutes later Aria asks Yvonne, "What's the other language you speak?" to which Yvonne responded "mandarin". Aria thought for a minute then said "mandarines don't talk".

Danger Dan - I'd never heard of him until today. Probably won't be appreciated by the sooky lala brigade.... so, you don't watch it. It's almost as olffensive as the non consential kissing in Snow White, or the demonic pepe le pew chasing a poor female cat. But it IS funny.

I've seen people doing shit like that before, some in real life. You're always surprised when it ends well.

Coming home from Toc this morning, take the Goulburn Valley Hwy from Toc, through Koonomoo, to the T intersection at the Yarroweah road house. There, right in front of me, nailed up to a tree across the road is a large hand made sign, written on it is "Turn Back, Victoria's Rooted"
