Re: Trade Winds: Dan Houston
I love to get him, but on the other hand, chance we see our future first brought forward.
Either way. I always look forward to this time of year, I even look forward to selection 99.

Re: Trade Winds: Dan Houston
Well there was on AFL site that Huston has decided to stay at the Power

Option #2 ~ Mr X will cost us half (or less) the trade value of Dan Houston. He's a 1x AA defender only one year older than Houston. He's currently on the market. Would be an instant replacement for Noble. Maybe throw the Power a curve ball and go this route?

Re: Trade Winds: Dan Houston
The other thing to think about is North. They can offer Port a very good deal. And it's better he goes her than to Carlton.
It's very hard to decide what we'd prefer. But if missing out on Houston gives us a shot at Kennedy and an outside chance at Barrass, whilst still getting Lord along with the draft picks we want... I think what's important is getting Noble traded asap and getting that pick 13 (And hopefully 23).

Re: Trade Winds: Dan Houston
the Kangaroos are considering trading their future first-round pick to the Bombers, in exchange for Pick 9.
This puts north in the box seat. And I'm fine with that. Im starting to think we should pull out and just focus on getting Noble to Suns.

The Most Likely outcome of Dan Houston outcome with 3 days to go in Trade Period is him staying at Port

I think all the media are guessing no one actually knows what's going on

It is the media's circus. Bring on the finish line as the trading period is a farce.GreekLunatic wrote: ↑Sun Oct 13, 2024 5:32 pm I think all the media are guessing no one actually knows what's going on

The circus just rolls on. It's tme to look at what we get for Noble and Richards and the Draft and forget about Dan. A bridge too far.

Re: Trade Winds: Dan Houston
^ it kind of takes North out of it. I'd say Houston is either going to be a Pie or stay at Port. Carlton are out of it, Dons and Dees were never in it, Richmond have picks to please Port but does he want to go there? North need to find a way to split pick 2.
Im hoping we have an answer tomorrow

Pick 9 has been on the market since late Friday when Essendon realised Kako would probably attract a bid earlier than that, yet we are still trying to do deals for pick 13, tunnel vision will cost us any chance of landing Houston.
