Brayden Maynard is a heart and soul player who is one of the few that will never be let go by Collingwood. If the club even thought about clearing out such a committed and brave player who gives his all and more every week for the Pies the fans would burn the AIA center down.
I can't blame Nth Melb for asking and they are correctly pursuing Parker from the Swans because they have finally realised that successful football clubs consist of more than just talent on the ground. It is the indelible spirit of the great players have that drive themselves, and their team mates, to exceed in the contest more often than not and display strength & courage on the ground that help their team mates walk taller and run harder to follow such hero's examples. Collingwood is blessed to have such a player of Maynard's character and he'll never be traded and the true mark of Maynard's character is that he would never want to leave Collingwood either.
