Really, we should win this one. We ARE a better team, and the spot we are on the ladder is irrelevant.
Taz will probably miss again, but we might get C1 (J.Cloke) back into the lineup.
Pies by 29 points.

We need to (and should) win both this and the following game against Richmond and get a bit of positiveness back into the place.

This is a dead rubber. If we win Whoopee!!! If we don't who cares. Our season has ended, now lets see if we are going for priority picks or if we make a game of it.
I am not being negative, just realistic. If we win it does not mean much in the scheme of things.

All this may be summed up in one word - CHARACTER - and if that is not worth developing, nothing is.

After rnd.22, anything less than 10W/12L is unaccepatble, even given injuries/suspensions etc.
Might i suggest we revert to that direct gameplan that lasted one week against a weakened Hawk outfit, than saw us kick 20.20?
I'm really, really tired of all this "going-wide" shit football.
Just start taking some risks with the ball again, as there is absolutely nothing to lose now.

Wouldn't suprise me if we lost this one, the Dogs have a knack of scaring us early but they can never sustain it. If they are infront by few goals at 1/2 time, i wouldn't like our chances as our forward line hasn't fired a shot at all this year...
Ohhhh the premierships a cakewalk for the good old COLLINGWOOD

I don't think they are tanking (they don't need to, anyway).
It may be legal, but it was morally wrong to ask Croft to restructure his contract into one heavily loaded on performance then leave him to rot in the VFL, thereby lowering their total player salary payments. They have serious financial problems, but this is a pathetic way to go about dealing with it.

I think it was labrooy who said that we are slim chance of beating Freo in perth - We have only ever beaten the Eagles once in Perth (not counting pre-season) and that was by 1 point and we have only ever beaten the dockers at subi the year they didn't win a game for 17 rounds - We are definately no chance to beat them, even in their early days they would beat us at the WACA.
As a WA magpie you know you rock up to subi knowing the result. Anyway I hope we lose to the Bulldogs for priority picks - but whenever I say that early in the week, when bouncedown comes I can't stand us to lose to anybody!!

Life is very short and there's not time for fussing and fighting my friends!
