Dinner with Luke.

Post by Dale61 »

10 Nicksters had the pleasure of spending a couple of pleasant hours dining with our sponsored player, Luke Shackleton, in the cosy surroundings of Mark's Place.

David King was also present, and topics discussed were varied and many.

Luke was presented with a collage of photos from over the past two years. The pics were taken by me, and MagpieMel and Tess were responsible for putting the collage together.

I've attached the pics of the night below.

Good stuff. Sounds like you all had a bit of fun.

Tess, if you can't get a hold of MM, I can put it up on the website.

Two very pleasant yong men who did an excellent job of entertaining us hacks, coodabeens and never wases.

Kingy was especially fun, but then again he had been called up to the seniors and poor Shack is still waiting his turn.

Well done Tess and Mel for putting it on.

Did Shack mention that he'd visited Nicks?

He hasn't had the chance as he doesn't have ready access to a pc, but now that he knows a little more about what Nick's actually is, he will be looking the first chance he gets.

Thanks Tess, that's much better :)

Of course I knew you and the players, but the others were a mystery. Strange isn't it this online world? I've known whyphilwhy and stik35 for quite a while now (years), but I wouldn't have known them if I'd fallen over them.

Yes Mike, and the photographer never got his head in the group shot.

Tess will confirm that I look better behind a camera than in front of one.
