Out of our kids used so far, these are the groups I have put them into:
150+ Games:
-C.Cloke
-Richards
-Maxwell
100 Games:
-Rowe
-Davidson
-Swan
-King
-Crow
Jury Still Out:
-Shacks
-B & H Shaw
-Morrison
-Hall
Under the pump:
-Nixon
-Mullins
Mullins is in trouble. He is a class act and should be in the senior side more often but the fact that he has only played 2-3 games this season suggests that MM thinks he aint up to scratch.
Nixon is also under the pump. He has been nervous and unshaw in his first few games with his disposal a real concern.
Shack is unlucky to be dropped, but the pressure is on. He was impressive in his first few minute on Saturday.
King has possibly saved his carrer in recent weeks showing form as a goalsneek. I don't think he will be one to go.
Swan could be feeling the heat. He was great early on but has tailed off badly in this, his third season. He needs to make the step up soon.

He's been this years shining light thats for sure. He just has a genuine hardness for the ball and his vision is alot better than most people who have only played a few games! Good on ya Maxy
Tradition? Pfft you call merging with Fitzroy and cheatin to 3 flags Tradition? Winning 4 flags in a row is history, which makes tradition!

Yep , Nick has been fantastic - straight off the rookie list into the seniors and really looks like he belongs there.
Have to agree with all re his courage, disposal etc
Now what about Crows debut - I thought his first game was as good as Maxwells .
Kingy played his best game so far , big Richards looks the goods - maybe next year will be the year we all thought 2004 would be .

Johnson 26 you are entitled to your opinion but your summation on some these players futures are so off the mark its not funny.Johnson#26 wrote:Out of our kids used so far, these are the groups I have put them into:

Last year and early this year you would have been saying Swan was going to be a 100 game plus player. Give the boy a go, young guys go off the boil sometimes and their form fluctuates. He has been playing very well for Williamstown and his time will come again when the opportunity arises. As for someone like Kingy you are predicting him to be a 100 gamer after a couple of solid games in the seniors. It wasn't that long ago Kingy was dropped from the seniors and running around Williamstown like a chook with its head chopped off. He has stepped up lately sure enough but one thing is for sure playing as small goal kicking forward he is going to go through a lean patch when the opposition defenders are going to pay him more attention and thus will probably find himself having a spell in the twos. It doesn't mean he is finished or he is not going to play a hundred games it just means it is way too early to make true call on some of these youngsters.
I should have never been sacked as the president of the Collingwood Football Club.

From the first time I saw him at Williamstown I told my family he reminds me of Shane Morwood. Similar build but mostly he never looks flustered, remember how Morwood looked like he was asleep and on the field on his own half the time in the way he never seemed to panic or not have time, Maxwell is the same, willing to hold on to the ball for that few seconds longer in order to not turn it over and get the right option.
