A new window opens with the whole post in between "quote="poster name"" and "/quote" tags.
You can then edit the post (if you want to refer to only a part of it, for example) and add your own comments after it.
As I have done with yours above!

you can also use the tags
or alt+q *paste your text here* alt+q and do it by hand, I usually use the "quick reply" box so just use the quote " " but aparently thats get up some ones nose.
