Could this be a Massive Trade???

Post by Di Di Didak »

Heard from Insider at Melbourne that Trav Johnstone and Cam Bruce very reluctant to re-sign as they have both been asked to take pay cuts.

Tarrant ----> WC
Johnstone--> Ess
Bruce-------> Coll
M Johnson--> Coll
Judd---------> Mel

plus usual draft pick sweeteners

Not saying that this trade was mentioned!!!! But IMO i just combined a few of the things that have been going around on these boards.

I wouldnt be completely unhappy with this.
I reckon Taz is a Gun, but the word from some of the Melbourne boys is that Judd MAD Melbourne and would only consider moving back to vic to play with the dees.

With Johnstone and Bruce out of contract at end of year, may be interested in workin something out now
Opinions??

No way would i want this trade. We lose taz, to only get Bruce and Johnson!

If we were to lose taz, i would want nothing less then a Judd like player.

or:

Woewodin ----> WC
Johnstone--> Ess
Bruce-------> Coll
M Johnson--> Melb
Judd---------> Coll

Woey and Judd can return to their respective home states.
Johnstone has had several soft tissue injuries, so might not be worth the risk.
If it were J.Johnson, maybe, but not Mr. Sunbury.

Lose Tarrant to get Johnson and Bruce.

That is laughable actually its insulting.

If that ever happened Balme would be hung.

I just wish WC would hurry up & re-sign or extend Judd and stop all this bullshit. They will you know. Its only a matter of time.
Get back on top.

Cam - I hope they have to pay Judd more and then we can swoop in and get Kerr and/or Morrison.

Why would we want Morrison we have plenty of players of his type that do a better job of it. Kerr would be a very handy pickup quick and has good skills and wouldn't come as expensive as judd.

Tarrant and Judd are the only stars there. Johnstone is average at best.

I personally think M.Johnson is highly overrated so I'd stay away from that particular deal.

Johnstone went in the same draft as Tarrant. He is rated at Melbourne much more highly then most think. I'd like him.
