Bronlow + trade value

Post by erniedog »

Does the Bronlow affect trade value?
if so how many are
McGough (at least 2 how many more)
O'bree (maybe 4 any more?)
Shaw (prob 0)

likely to get?

McGough may have upped his value a little, but it is all the more reason to keep him. First four weeks in the VFL, first week in gets 2 votes.

I don't think Judd is going anywhere anyway.

Re, trade value, I think it might add a little, but not much. Teams will already know about players, and a few Brownlow votes won't change their minds much.

Maybe, maybe not; if the lad wants to return to Vic, it won't stop him, but the truth is no-one really knows and probably won't until this time next year, unless he signs a new contract before then.

What the Brownlow will do, though, is increase his asking price on that new contract and, so long as he isn't greedy, WCE will pay what he asks, which will make it difficult for him to come home.

For now I can see him staying, down the road, when West Coast still fail to win anything, he will be back in Victoria, looking for a better place to be.

Maybe Dave, as he said that he was there for a flag. But I can see the Eagles taking the flag in a few years. They have a very potant mix, and just need a key forward to go places in finals.
