Nicky

Nick can do one thing none of our forwards were able to do this year and that is kick straight, so why don't we just bury the hachet and take him back if the offer is good? Players mature at different rates. Everybody can't be like a James Clement.

Would be happy to bury the hatchet IF he had shown any sort of change in attitude and work rate and a willingness to actually use his talent - he hasn't and probably never will IMO

For goodness sake - cried blue murder to go home, and his "parents" want to kick him out.

Why would we want rubbish like that?

And just like Tess said, how could you ever trust the bloke again - tell him and SinCity to F#$K OFF!

I agree, we should bury the hatchet right in the middle of his sooky la la forhead. Walked out on the greatest club in football history then taunted us at telstra dome when he kisked the winning goal. Stuff him, we dont want or need blokes who play for themselves and dont do it for their brothers.

We cannot, on principle take him back. We should not be a fall back option. He wanted to go home where he thought he would thrive and it has failed. I remeber hearing that Roos was horrified mid season when Davis injured his hip and subsequently put on 7 kgs.At last count he was 10 kg overweight. Now remeber Roosie delisted Mott after he came back to pre season training 10 kgs over weight, on the back of 17 games in his first year.

His mind is a bog, he would frustrate the crap out of us like he did in 2002 because he is the sad typical case of a player with heaps of talent but no real ambition to realise it....Three years ago I thought he had Darren Jarman-esque qualities not me thinks he should not be rated in the same breath.

I'd take him if we could but he will stay. I don't think he will ever peak or reach his best due to injury and a lack of persistance. He could become washed up soon if Roos has had enough.q

Keep Nick Davis bashing if it helps you get over it,

but Paul Roos was on SEN saying the rumour was ridiculous & no such offer was ever made.
