Agreed. Choco may be smarter than we've given him credit for in the Stevens deal last year. If Freo crumbled because they knew Choco would force Carr into the PSD, then it will have been worthwhile. Three picks is extortion, two would still have been too much and one pick would have been about right.

the funny thing is, its not like they need help in their midfield. They have a good midfield already. What they needed was a KPP, most preferably up forward to kick some goals instead of relying on their small forwards to win finals. To give those picks away for a player who desperately wants to play in the same team as his brother and who would have most probably gone to the PSD if they didnt get him is insane! If only Bomber thompson traded like the Dorkers did.....
