membership drive

I've asked a few mates to come along and they are asking if sunday is family friendly, ie can they bring the kids to the hydy? I said I imagined it would be but I thought I'd better check. sorry for the late questions but better late than never.

Hey Blanch,

Yep Sunday is most definately Family Friendly, the Hyde Park is very much a family hotel anyway. So Kids are more than welcome.

Hey Joel,

It went good on Sunday, had a good turnout, I reckon we would have had between 50-60 people sign up. Plus we are still getting calls and emails from peopkle who couldn't make it on the day but are still interested in joining.

Things are looking up over here at long last.

we had 61 people sign up on the day and a lot more membership forms where taken for people to sign up that went there on the day.

Holey cow guys that is fantastic news. What a great start for you guys. Hopefully we can get that turnout for qldmagpies in a few weeks time.

i know ive posted this question regarding being a pies member and automatically becoming a western maggies member - but do we get any official letter confirming our membership to the western magpies??

Hi Wa Magpie,

You will get sent the membership pack out as soon as Collingwood have put them together. However we will still need you to fill out a membership form (as we need to get your address details on our books, so we can let collingwood know) so if you logon to http://www.freewebs.com/westernmagpiesand go to the membership page you can download a membership form from there and send it on to us.
