Is there a Southern Tas equivalent???

The NTCSG serves Pie fans in north-east Tasmania.

All we need is about 15 more, plus someone who wishes to be the President of this. Where we would find 15 more membrs that are willing to join after the original one died.

Some ideas for getting more members:

*Have a membership drive day like the Western Magpies. Basically pick a day at a venue somewhere, advertise the day, maybe even offer discounted membership for those who sign up on the day, and go from there (could be in the flyer that goes out to Collingwood members):

*Wear your Collingwood gear in public (hat, or t-shirt) and if someone says to you 'Go Pies' let them know about the club.

*Sign up your family members... all of them :)

*Try the local football clubs... you should find some Magpie fans there

*Mailout to Collingwood members in Southern Tasmania via the club

*When there are AFL matches in Tasmania (i.e. last year there was a St Kilda game down there) wear your collingwood gear and when someone says 'Go Pies'... sign them up. The SCSC recently did this at the annual Essendon vs Sydney match at North Sydney Oval in Sydney :)

*Put out a post of all Collingwood & AFL Bulletin Boards calling for people to join.

*Pick a venue to watch each Collingwood game together i.e. a pub... that way you have more events in which to promote the club.

*tazziepie says he has members in the Hobart area...

The Wrest Point Casino used to be the home of the Southern Tasmanian Supporters Group, maybe getting in contact with them?
