I personally think Josh Fraser would make an excellent captain.
I am actually shocked that people were saying he didn't have a good 2004 He finished second in Collingwoods brownlow votes.
He pretty much carried the side early in the season (not to mention the last 2 grand finals!)
From what i can see the other players look up to and respect Josh and I would be a very happy collingwood supporter if he was our next captain.
He is also very good in the media and a captain needs to be good at that!!
Josh has been my favourite player since he came to collingwood, he is so sweet. That's why i was getting a little head strong at the top, so please dont take it personally!

From memory, Woey recieved 12 Brownlow Votes in 2003. He didn't have a great year, just put in some great performances. Ditto Fraser in 2004. Brownlow Votes can only be determined in one or two 3 vote games - which is what Fraser got.Lu Lu 25 wrote:I am actually shocked that people were saying he didn't have a good 2004 He finished second in Collingwoods brownlow votes.

Remember he is only 23 years old and doing alot more then other players of similar age i.e Cloke, Didak and Davis.
And ruckman don't usually hit there peak until about 25 years old.
I Hope this year hehas a great year! Good Luck Fraz!!

By the start of the 2006 season, Josh Fraser will be the AFL's verfsion of Hulk Hogan, long strapping locks at the back and bald as a fresh brazilian at the front. Here is hoping he grows the handlebar 'tache to round out the appearance.
