Hopefully this hasn't been asked:

What position did Collingwood player, Ted Potter play, and how many goals did he kick in his career?

I kinda recall him playing CHB and he kicked 1 goal? Came from Dandenong as a forward I think.

Ted Potter never kicked a goal in his career. He played CHB in the 66 grand final. Late in the game with the scores level, Ted's handpass was intercepted by one of the St Kilda players, Barry Breen. The rest, as they say, is history.

What is the generally accepted reason for Nathan Buckley not winning the best and fairest in his 1 season for the Brisbane Bears, despite starring in a mediocre team all season?

Because there were some at the Bears that didn't like him/his personallity or was it that he was so far in front that they brought him back to the field halfway through the year?

Dave is correct and 26 is partly correct.

When it became clear that he was going to stick to his plan and enforce the condition that he leave after 1 season, he suddenly stopped getting votes in the last few games. This enabled the player who was coming second (possibly Michael McLean) to catch him.
I dont think this has been admitted by the people responsible but is considered to be true.

I'm not sure what to make of Hals comment. Then again, i never am.
