round one has finally come and gone but not in the way we wanted it.
although we did not get the win it was a great day for the western magpies as we had a great turn out and signd up a few more members.
i would like to thank paul higgins for a donation for the raffle and congratulations to all the raffle winners.

also just letting everyone know if you want to go to the pies v freo game at subi in rnd 7 just let a committee member know by rnd 3, so if you know any pies supporters that want tickets tell them to contact a committee member as we want as many as we can.

Well done to all the people who came down to the Hyde park for our first game and function! It was great to see new and old faces, and hopefully it will give members a taste of what is to come for the rest of the season this year ( in Western magie terms!).
Things will only get better!
