Conspiracy Theory

Post by Caz »

I have a theory. It's not pretty, but here goes. Match Fixing. Have you noticed the trend of games lately? The Port game was a fine example. We were losing, but it was close. Then, in the 3rd quarter, we staged a mini comeback. Or, like against Geelong, we were ahead all day only to get beaten in the second half. Especially when games are shown live on 7, I reckon there's a deal going on with Collingwood, that if we're looking pathetic, kick a few quick goals so all the supporters don't turn off. That way they still get the ratings. I can't think of any better explanation for our peformances this season, but all I can say is that it's heartbreaking to watch.

No, a better theory is that the football public have been watching talking footy and realised that Malcolm Blight need something to talk about other than hinself or any other shit that comes into his mind so as long collingwood keeps losing, the three turds they call panelists can continue to analyse and dissect why. Another possible theory - Mike Sheehan will fair square break down and cry if and probably poo his pants if Collingwood make the 8. He is a big fag and nobody wants to see that. Do they ?

You can only fix a game if there are some people who believe you will win and others who believe you will lose.

Hence, there can be no allegations of fixing involving Collingwood over the past 5 weeks.

Nor, dare I say, in the near future.
