My sentiments exactly! I don't get to go to the footy very often but look forward to the Friday night games - kicking back with a few cans, yelling at the TV, pumping the fist when we goal, abusing the umpires - it's all good.
Watching replays on Fox and analysing the games.
Saturday afternoon at the local footy with some mates.

Just watching footy in general - winning's great and if we lose the pain doesn't last too long

Have played, coached and supported local footy for the last 35 years which is the reason I have seen limited live VFL/AFL games but believe me I am none the poorer for that.
Footy and football clubs ( should I say football club ) have been a major part of my life and I have enjoyed every minute of it.

Greg Swann said on SEN last night that we are sitting on 37000 members which means 4000 from last year havent renewed. The club need every member so renew, go to the games and enjoy it.

I'll be in the Ponsford, and all I'll need for a good day is to see some of the kids showing something and maybe a hint of improvement from the seasoned players. Winning is a bonus but not all important for me to enjoy myself.

This'll be a good game cos we have no chance of beating the Saints. Therefore it will make it better if we win, and it won't be as bad if we lose.

some people are easily satisfied! :? I'm sick to death of watching them lose, especially when I know they should be doing better. I can't see us winning a game all year.

Good onya Dale!

Although I HATE us losing, there is always next week. And there are far more important things happening in the world, such as a new granddaughter for me to cuddle.

Don't get me wrong, I am on Nicks most of the day and the official CFC site, along with the Herald Sun, the AGE and so on to get all and any info about our great club, but in the light of things, there is a game on this week and I will be watching and yelling for us to win as I do every week.

I HATE losing, but I'm looking forward to seeing Travis play again, and watching Yakka and Rus come through.

Watching Travis run past for a handball and kicking it long into the fwd50 was a sight to behold on Monday.

Agree Culprit. Fun is what footy is all about. We need to win, want to win etc...but the enjoyment factor is first and foremost.
