Sadly, I think you are right. "The General" has been one of my favourites for the last four years. I just hope he gets to play in a few more winning games in his last year. But alas at the moment he is waiting for injuries to open a spot. I can not see Micky being too sentimental. Not while we are still in the hunt for September action.

Hey Jon I have to agree with you there. Bagger has been one of my fav players for years now and I sadley have to ay this will bre his last year. I just hope that Micky will play him soon so he can reach his 250th game and I just hope that it will be in Melbourne, so I can see that game.

Correction:
Mick has NOT mentioned Crosisca is close to playing.
When he was asked who is pressing in the twos he mentioned Scotland and a few others, then a JOURNALIST said "So it could be from Crosisca, Scotland...(insert a few other names)" and Mick replied "Yeah, someone from that group".
Having seen him play twice this year - one time mostly on the bench - I honestly think he will really struggle to get any senior games. It would be a real shame if we can't give him a proper farewell due to his current form. However, there are still 17 rounds to go - anything is possible.
