Actually the more that I think about it, the more that I realise that Tex actually did a resonable job.
Tex stands at 195cm and weighs 98kg while that Freak Show Circus Act Sandilands stands at 211cm and weighs 122kg. What an enormous amount of weight and Height to give away and than pretty much ruck all day!
Well done Tex!

I can't see where our next win is going to come from. I reckon we will be lucky to win 4 this season. Long hard road ahead guys.
The effort yesterday was nothing short of pathetic. Yeah, there may be injuries bur seriously, even when you do, you don't lose by 112 points.
It even seems like the senior group doesn't have their heart in it anymore. I know I will probably get yelled at for this, but I seriously think we need to finish bottom few now. We need to start again, this side is finished, and it aint going to be fixed by finishing middle of the range. We might not have any choice in this anyway because we will probably just finished bottom anyway.
I don't care if MM has lost the players, the players should make a pact to never play like that again, they should take it upon themselves to win for themselves. Just who are they playing for anyway? Having said that, I think MM is running short of time.
MM has had a chance to build a very good team, and he almost achieved great success when he managed to get the team to play above themselves in 02-03, but in reality that will no longer hapopen with this current team. There must be changes at all levels at the end of the season - the coaching panel, the players, conditioning staff - Eddie said he wanted the best for Collingwood, what we have now is not the best for Collingwood, it is doing the club harm.

I agree Joel - You don't loose by 100+ points no matter what - UNLESS, the players are sending a message??,... but even then, surely self-pride prohibits you capitulating like that ??
I wish Hanse Cronjer was captain,..... would make it easier to take
Hey, don't suppose anyone saw/heard Burns giving a dodgy pitch report?

Agreed, to get 19 Hitouts against him is an amazing effort. To put it in perspective it would have been like Josh Fraser Rucking against Des Headland. Guts and Heart, the boy couldnt move after the game.spoljar wrote:Actually the more that I think about it, the more that I realise that Tex actually did a resonable job.

I just wish they could show some pride. We are at such a great club - and they have an oppotunity I'd give anything to have. Can't they show some passion? Play for eachother - the way they did, like brothers in 2002. I love this place, and club - can they show it as well?
Good to see Maxy did well. A future skipper.
How is TC's knee?

Hey, 2003 we were 6-6 at the break..there's still hope if we can win 5 of the next 6.
Richmond, West Coast, Hawthorn, Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney.
That was SARCASM.
If only Sports films like "Any Given Sunday" and "The Club" actually happened. Unfortunately, we don't have Daicos, Hulk and a pot-smoking recruit to bail us out. Where's Willie Beamin when you need him?.
As for the game - I kept checking my remote 'cos I thought I was watching The Comedy Channel. Thank God I watch NBA and support the Detroit Pistons or else Foxtel would've been one big waste of cash this year. At least with the Pistons, we won back-to-back in 1989/90 and then won again last year - 15 year gap. With the Woodsmen, it's been 15 years and counting.
Clinton Grybas (Pies supporter) sounded delerious commentating. I think he wanted to burst out laughing. At least Freo kicked 23 quick goals in the opening minutes so I could brace myself for the aftrenoon. The good thing about that game was that it made me want to come in to work real bad...so I could use the internet and post on Nick's!!!

Whats our injury list from the game?
Josh Fraser (knee) - long term
Shane Woewodin (back) - Unsure
Ben Davies (ankle) - Unsure
Travis Cloke (knee/ankle?) - Doubtful
Richard Cole (knee/ankle?) - Doubtful
Trsitan Walker (ankle) - Doubtful
Can anyone confirm these injuries and how long they might be out?

A lot of soul searching to be had this week. A truly pathetic effort, even given our injuries etc. Hard questions have surely to be asked of the playing squad, recruiting of players AND football staff. The club as a whole is at probably its lowest ebb for years, and the answer is????????, who really knows. Might be an interesting Footy Show this week, as Im sure Eds gunna cop a bit of flak. Will be interesting to hear his reply. I've read Williams was one of the best at Williamstown on the w/end. If he gets a guernsey this week ahead of guys like Rusling, Egan and Co. I'll be spittin' chips!
Enjoy yourself. Its later than you think!
