What i can criticise is the fact that there is more to collingwoods problem than meets the eye. How come these injuries are happening? Is it poor training, is it that the pre season caused more harm than good, is our training staff incapable, is the new facilities playing a role in the injuries??? There must be something, surely there are some players on our list that have some sort of fitness. Ive never seen a team with less than 18 available players
I agree Dave. We must be able to improve in the off the scenes training.
Are we doing too many weights? Are we bulking up too much?
From my own professional point of view have we got players with biomechanical problems that can be avoided?
I hope as a club we are pulling out EVERY stopper to prevent injuries before they occur!
Geepers i'd come over from WA and assess their limb function free of change if it bloody helps!

Aside from the usual suspects - OB, Tarks, et al there's another name I'd like to add to the list - James Clement.
Sorry for those deluded by his Copeland win last year, but this guy has the leadership skills of a slug. Will not assist his team mates and his supposedly good field kicking is nothing more than myth. Sheahan secured him an All Australian jumper with plenty of column inches when there was no other Collingwood story to discuss, but I've had a gutful of watching him dog it out on the ground.
Yesterday showed just how brilliant a player Nathan Buckley is and how he held that side together for so long. It must kill him to watch guys meander around the field, chase cheap kicks and then turn it over.
MM's fault? Bullshit. 22 guys ran onto the field yesterday wearing black and white. How pathetic it was two guys with a grand total of three senior games between them that led the way.

...and so to today....MM..(mediocre Mick as he is sometimes referred) must have received some SPIN advice from eloquent PR people.
MM , they said....you will have a riot (they read the posts) if you keep blaming playes for your faults.
MM, the PR people continued, you know you're stubborn, the whole world knows it, you know you can't admit it when you're wrong because you even lie to yourself and you know that your judgement is not what it used to be...and finally, you know that your level of emotional intelligence is so low it can't go lower....So. MM..please make up with Scott Burns or at least pretend that you make up with him..so we can at least get some more suckers (we mean Collingwood supporters) to the game against Richmond...otherwise some fams have promised to boycott the game

jg22. Cant believe your pointing the finger at Clement. He was undoubtably our best ,courageous and inspirational player last year. Recognised by ,not just Collingwood, but by the football world in general.Brilliant year. This year, slightly disappointing, so far. However who hasnt been, besides Rhyce and a few others. As for his leadership and not assisting others????, sorry, have to agree to disagree with that one. Give the bloke a chance. He's got the hardest job on the paddock at the moment, our team is a mish mash of inexperience and underdone players adrift of any confidence. Imo Clemo deserves no flak.
Enjoy yourself. Its later than you think!
