No more excuses

Post by NT - Pie »

i am sick of everyone making excuses. we should not be where we are. rebuilding, young players what a lot of crap!! look at richmond geelong melbourne carlton. they never come out with that crap!!! essendon as baby bombers were more competitive than we are. these kids get a lot of money for playing and i gewt a lot of heartache for supporting them. how about a little bit of blood sweat and tears for the supporters/members. if buckley was to leave the club i would totally understand at least the tries every week. besides him and two or three others they all need a kick up the backside......

And a cold shower after every losing game. With the 6 a.m. dip at Portsea on the Monday.

I could not believe the Excuse for us losing against Port (throw-up) Power.
WE COULDN'T HANDLE THE WET CONDITIONS!!!
When we played against GEELONG it was raining and we led seven goals to one. The rain stopped - it dried up and we lost.
What sort of pathetic excuse are we going to get next . I don't think we are so silly to believe that one. I'm not anyway!!!!

I've seen it and heard it all... "This is the year!" Well it's not the year and it's not going to be the year. They should give players three warnings - like people with normal jobs - if they don't perform, they get the boot!!!! It's the only way.. fear breeds performance.

its painfully obvious the players dont share our pain, after all its their job and they get paid regardless. there has to be a way to make them notice what 8 years of footy disappointment has done to us fans...i am sick of it...
