Hard call I think he probably does have the ability to lead but there are other issues appearing such as the fact that he seems to be injured often and for a young player along with the fact that he is really not well built and much obviously struggle to bulk up that is something that would have to be taken into account.

Probably could do it but you need your captain on the park as much as possible so I would be looking elsewhere.

Josh has been slandered by people on this site, who have felt compelled to report on supposed overheard conversations (which is nothing more than evesdropping). Why we all need to be subjected to reading this kind of gossip is beyond me.

Every time I speak to Josh's sponsers, they have nothing but praise for him, and what a great young man he is. He will make a great captain for us one day.

Fraser doesnt need the stress of the captaincy - poor blokes already bald at 23.........

They should give it to someone with a full head of hair.... or, maybe ask Sav Rocca if they can borrow some off his shoulders and implant it on fraser....

I can count the amount of games Josh has dominated, on one hand.

Compare him to some of the young guns running around the AFL and he measures up really short.

In two years time Travis Cloke could be one of the biggest things in football.

The kid is the size of a mountain and he has aggro. If he turns into a champion footballer, your next captain is right there.

I do appreciate Josh's mocking of some of the supporter base BUT
he has to start putting his stamp on more games before I will be convinced he should be the next skipper.

Yet to prove he is a leader on the ground or an inspiration to others in his game play.

I'd like to see Jonno get the gig in two years, however Fraser would be a fantastic choice. It doesn't faze me who they pick if it came down to those two.

My first preference would still be Clemo. However the choices of either Fraser or Johnno would not disappoint me either. Clemo would slot in now(in Bucks absense). When Bucks retires(hopefully not too soon), but say for arguments sake 2 years, Frase and Johhno will be seasoned campaigners, leading by example.Burns ,Rocca and Licca for deputy roles.
Enjoy yourself. Its later than you think!

Burnsy doesnt want to part of the leadership group....

Also, i dont recon Rocca would make a good captain. He is an integral part of our team tho, but i dont reckon he is captain material. For Josh to be captain, he would need to be more consistant and need to bulk up majorly and not be pushed off the ball so easily.

i luv licca, i dont think cam cloke is even going to be on our list unless he learns about the game quickly. Will never be a captain however i agree that josh needs bulk if he is going to be captain. Also rocca is only a stand in captain at best. If you're are looking for a future captain, i think your user name says its all, licuria. Otherwise Clement should get it for the mean time until a young player emerges like trav cloke or johnson and really makes a mark on the afl.

No way known re Cameron. Not a leader at this stage, and definitely not in two years. As Dave said, 2 years is a long way away for C2.
