We must always be supportive of the club, however, we cannot just turn a blind eye to our disappointing and disgraceful losses throughout the year.
I have always stuck with the Pies whether we were winning or losing. I have never gone into my shell after losing. I have always stuck up for Collingwood an I am not embarassed to show my colours. Even if I tried to stop following the Pies, I wouldn't be able to do it, as my heart is Collingwood Forever. I have been supporting Collingwood since I new what football was, so don't generalise when you express your opinions.

although some of the posts we have written aren't very supportive, all we're doing is letting off a little steam, and if we weren't sticking with our team in good and bad we wouldnt still be posting on this board at all..
and the remark you made about we only support the maggies when they're winning is crap, most of the people come on here day after day posting and replying on here, and supporting the team even after every loss..
we ARE proud to wear our colours.. i've seen at least 5 of these people at every game i've been to.. supporting the team, even if the team is the favourite or not
we will, and will always be collingwood, in it together.. thick and thin

I'm with you, ytry4.
I'm still turning up every week and trying to be enthusiastic. Then I have to sit through a debacle like the second half yesterday. We were in it right up to our ears at half-time. And from then on it was like watching the Dees versus the Witches Hats. Just like our first quarter against the Weagles, or the whole game against Richmond.
Loyalty to your club is one thing. But how can you defend the indefensible? This club will never turn its fortunes around and be strong again until it reaches the point where a performance such as the second half yesterday is utterly unacceptable to everyone involved: Players, Coaches, Administrators, Trainers, Bootstudders, Barrackers, Supporters, Members, Little Old Ladies doing their knitting in the 25th row, Fanzine editors, Web-site administrators, Bulletin Board gurus, Smith Street junkies, tinkers, tailors and bloody boilermakers. It's time we all said: enough is friggin' enough.

My grand father was born in 1927. That means he saw four premierships when he was four! I have seen one at age 27. I know we support through thick and thin but I am tired of the thin. It's more like supporting through thin and thin. For the last 6 years we have been told that we have to be patient with the young players but in a couple of years they'll be alright but it doesn't happen so they bring in more young players and we have to be patient with them and so on. WELL I'M SICK OF IT! I am tired of the thin and I want some thick and I want it now.
You're kidding aren't you, d'pie.
The only good thing about this season is that it will be over in 8 weeks.
As for next season, I'm just hoping I get hit by a truck before it gets here. One good thing is that, because of the Olympics, the off-season will be about a month longer than usual.
Yessssssssssssss !
