Ok I just re read it, its pretty crap and some bits are repeated, also the AFL bit wouldn't need to be included. I also want to highlight the fact that this rally isn't against Collingwood but merely a show of support for the club (know what I mean?).

I agree with Hot Pies to a certain extent. I'm not sure about the Cheer Squad though. Is it the Official Cheer Squad you are talking about? Also if it is going to be held during Training how many people are going to participate- kids away for school holidays and supporters that have full time jobs. Another thing - if this is all about having a shot at the players because they are not playing with passion - Do you really think the young ones need this distraction? Until it is made clear what this is all about I cannot decide whether I am all for it or not. I think a get together of supporters is a great idea but it should be done properly and if it is going to be directed at the players and the club I think you should inform the club. Also bear in mind that the Players and Supporters unite on Family Day every year.

The sole idea is to make a visible and audible display of our support for the club.

Not in the sense that we agree with everything they do, but in the sense that we barrack for Collingwood win, lose or draw.

I am willing to hand out flyers before a game.

We can have several versions, but they all must have the same base info,
WHEN
WHERE
WHAT TO DO : That is, support loudly.

Here is my idea for a flyer (it is a derivation of a Xmas card that I heard about). They only get handed out to people in Club colours, of course.

First Page,

* contains backgoround graphic of a feral Collingwood supporter.
* with BIG BOLD text stating,
"Everyone else thinks you are a Helen Hunt"

Then they open the page (or turn it over, if we are conserving paper) and see on the second page,
* a graphic of joyous marching Magpie fans,
* and BIG BOLD text stating
"BUT WE LUV YA BABY"
(maybe throw in a Kojak graphic)
" IF YOU ARE LOUD AND PROUD
MEET US AT VICTORIA PARK RAILWAY STATION
at ?:?? pm, on the 30th June
AND REVEL IN THE COMMUNAL SUPPORT
AS WE MEANDER DOWN TO SEE THE BOYS AT
TRAINING"

Are we in school holidays? When are they?

Look, I totally agree with everything that Hotpies has said. First of all I think this is being organised way to quick, I mean its Wednesday and we are trying to get Flyers ready for Friday? Common we got to get real! Hotpies, firstly I came up with the idea, but I was wondering if anybody would be interested in organising it. Look, a final comfirmation! I personally think that the week after would be a better date, with alot more time to organise but this would prove hard with the spreading details etc. Last of all I Hotpies would there be any chance whatsoever that you could give us by a time tomorrow? arrggghhhhh!!!!!!! This is so frustrating, we are running out of time!

Ok I've come up with an idea! If flyers aren't in time for Hotpies then I will have details out probably tomorrow, and people might have to produce their own version of the flyer and print them. Now I need EVERYBODIES (even those idle members of the Bulletin Board) confirmation that they should be able to make it on the 30th, and I will do my VERY best effort to make my way there. Now, I will give a deadline of 6.00 pm tommorrow night for confirmation of when where and whats happening. With other details included. Also what I need to is if people would be able to provide (if it is possible to get a bbq or anything there) sausages and stuff. Um, this of course isn't a necessity but would be appreciated. Also I will have to contact the club to find out exact time of training on that day (i have sent email but might not get reply in time) so if I don't then we will just have to say turn up during training and hope that enough people can find out when it is. Another thing is that we need some people to hand out flyers and stuff, any volunteers? Now is every body happy with what has been said? Any more queries? Anybody who on the day who is good at starting chants do your best to start some, does anybody also know anyone that is in the cheersquad who can tell them to come along? Um, I don't know what else to say but this has to be done quick, and we need people to be able to print of flyers and stuff then hand them out, one design might not be done in time. Thanks

For anybody with ICQ you can catch me on
