I have it on fairly good authority that Nick Dvais will be traded at the end of the year for Greg Stafford. Apparently Nick wants to return to his family in Sydney, and after some discussion an in principle agreement has been reach to see the big man come to Collingwood. It would on the surface appear to be a little along the line of the Schwass/Shannon Grant deal. Personally I rate Stafford highly, and big men are harder to find than midfielders. It however would potentially consign the Mckee/King deal to the crap heap, but would provide a fantastic tutor to Fraser. If it works out then I think it will be to our advantage. Any thoughts??

Last week Inside Football wrote that Nick might be leavin for Sydney so we can get Stafford, this week it repeats this news only they reckon Rocca might go with him as well now.

These rumours about trades most of the time turn out to be false, so I wouldn't really be worried about it.

Hey Collingwood faithful,
I wouldn't mind seeing Sav being traded. Don't get me wrong, he's been a great player for us, but he hasn't done much for us this year. And i don't really see him improving. You might all hate me for saying this, but this is what I think.
Any thoughts?

Don't get me wrong I like Sav. But what are the best tallies he has had..? Something like 73 goals and 92 goals I think. Is this what we should be expecting from a Full Forward? I think not! Now the problem is that if Sav was traded I can see him kicking a ton with another side, where he may actually get a forwards coach. Anyway, I don't know anymore. I believe we have a talented team, but we must improve!
