*** NBB Player Sponsorship 2006 ***
Hi everyone,
Well, it's the time of year again when we need to decide if NBB will sponsor a player for Season 2006. We need to advise the Club of our decision by 15th Dec at the latest. It looks like our Nick has gone up a category and therefore up in price from last year. This year it will cost us $1550 plus GST.
The two lower categories of sponsorship are:
Team Player Category - $1550 +GST
- Jason Cloke, Leon Davis, Chad Morrison, Simon Prestigiacomo, Rhyce Shaw, Shane O'Bree, Ryan Lonie, Nick Maxwell
Players of the Future - $1350 +GST
- Julian Rowe, Guy Richards, Travis Cloke, Dane Swan, Brayden Shaw, Tristen Walker, & 1st round draft pick (tbc)
So I guess the questions I need answered are:
1. Yes or No? Do we want to sponsor a player again in 2006?
2. Which player? Do we want to continue supporting Nick Maxwell - or are there other suggestions?
3. Can we afford it? I need to know prior to the 15th Dec how many people are interested in being involved in NBB's sponsorship. Please either reply to this post or PM me with an amount you are happy to pledge for our 2006 Sponsorship.
Only if we reach the amount needed prior to 15th Dec can our sponsorship go ahead - as there would be nothing worse than making a committment to the Club to sponsor a player and then not having enough money on the payment due date next year.
Please note that you do not need to pay any money now. We will need to pay the Club in two installments - 3rd Feb 06 and 2nd Jul 06.
If you think you'd like to help support NBB to sponsor a player in 2006 and can have the money available prior to the dates above then please let me know. The more the merrier!
Remember, for every $10 paid, you will get a ticket in a number of raffles including tickets to the Season Launch, B&W Ball, player cocktail party and player breakfast. We will also have a signed team guernsey to raffle.
Please let me know your answers to the above questions by 13th Dec 05.
Thanks,
Marg

Well done Marg - this is a valuable exercise as the Nicksters are given some credence when we put up some cold hard cash to support the club and player of choice.
I'm in again and will PM amount ... I hear that Shane O'Gree guy can really play
Cheers

Marg, I'm in again. Same amount as this year please.
I'd love us to again sponsor Nick, he's perfect for us, he's a great kid, a great Clubman (as shown by the award)
I think we should be able to get the extra money. Was it paid in 2 instalments this year?
Also, as I've mentioned before, i'm certainly happy to assist you with this if you need it.

...shhhh don't tell anyone, but I am a big fan of the man of cheese and I will take any opportunity to put a rap on him.
Back to the point. Maxy is the obvoius choice regardless of cost, he has a huge future at the club, but I would be happy to contribute for any of the players...especially Shane.

Players of the Future - $1350 +GST
- Brayden Shaw
I'll let you know whether I can participate, but this Brayden kid sounds like a goer. Can't wait to see him running through the guts in the red & blue...
Is there a price for Ben Davies?
