LMAO. So do I. In a hilarious coincidence, I had to read that book in year 11 Literature at the same time. Our teacher neglected to mention it to us but I told the other girls.

It's a Triple M radio show, as Sam said.

They didn't actually read it tho.. Fifi had this really weird accent, and it was all this scenery music in the background and stuff... they probably read like, one paragraph a day.. it was all for a joke :)

Yeah, and they were a mile behind where I was up to so I couldn't really use the radio show to read the book. You know... I never ever finished Cloudstreet and I still managed to do ok on the exam which was all about the book.

School exams are regurgitation exercises....just write what the teachers/examiners told you to.
I though it would change at uni level, but after five years, I'm thinking they're not big on new insights either............shame really but c'es la vie

I still am having trouble believing Paris Hilton can write let alone a whole book... anyway, i am reading The Witching Hour by Anne Rice and it's pretty good. About a whole family whose females pass down various psychic and supernatural abilities along with a male spirit who helps them get revenge on their enemies. Good stuff.
Congrats Bucks, on a great return! Bring on the Crows!
