Spidergirl, you amaze me!!! Who on earth would you say should win the Copeland.....

There's no player within cooee of Bucks if you check all the stats and if he DOESN'T WIN the Copeland then it'll be rigged!!!!

As for you signing off "Ricky" that wouldn't be the great pickup we got - Olorenshaw?

if buckley cost us this match the rest of the collingwood squad cost us the other 14 games this season. Some of you so called supporters better get a grip on things..or maybe you can support clubs like Richmond. Lets not turn on our players especially if they deserve all the praise they can get.

Bucks is the best and MOST loyal player Collingwood has. Every time i hear that Collingwood has lost by about 40 plus points i immediatley fell sorry for Bucks. He works his bloody guts out for this team, and deserves more respect from you guys.

Hmmm, did Bucks cost us the game? No!
While he might have missed that goal, Rowdy missed something like 4 goals, Anothny missed goals and the list goes on. He may have missed, but imagine if he had kicked it...then it would be a different story wouldn't it?

You can't attribute the loss to one or two occasions when a guy should have handballed. Conversely, Buckley could have handballed and Chipper might have missed, prompting people to say Buckley should have taken the kick.

If it hadn't been for Buckley, we never would have gotten back in the game. Overall, though, the Team should never put itself in a situation where one or two instances - or some bad umpiring decisions - will cost it the game.

Um yeah Justin whatever! You makr your own conclusions. What Bucks did I think was right, however he did have another option which could have been a choice. The question is, why are we asking this question? The fact is we lost, live with it!

Joel's post is the most spot-on here.

I had another look at the replay last night (we almost looked as good as that "Once Upon a Time in Rounds 1 - 5..."). The option to pass to Chippa was a risk - he had 2 bulldogs coming at him from inside, so would have had to run towards the boundary for his shot...IF he took the ball cleanly....IF he had time to shoot...IF it went through the goals...IF he didn't try to run all the way in and get cuaght (a-la the first Scragger match).

Too many IFs...not enought BUTTs working hard to support each other.

As for my bagging of Bucks goal-kicking this season, turns out his kicking for goal has just been "bad" this year, not atrocious. Official stats show he's kicked 26.30 (Thanks Nick!).
