I have finally got around to compiling the official leaderboard for the Gavin Brown/Nicks BB Medal for 2006. The only votes missing are from Anzac Day (I will fill them in once posted).
Without further ado, here is the leaderboard (remember, anyone can vote, but vote only once - a player can recieve as many votes as possible - there is no limit as to the amount of voters per round):

3: Shane O'Bree - 69
3: Ben Johnson - 69
5: Leon Davis - 67

Can i offer a suggestion....would it be more reasonable to tally all the votes after a particular rd and then give the votes as a 3, 2, 1....I mean say if one round josh pulled 40 votes from the votes given by us, swanny 35, heater 30, johnno 23 etc etc then for that round give josh the 3 , swanny 2, Heater 1 for that particular round..
All im saying is that some rounds more people may put their votes in than other rounds...and if that happens it shouldnt be that a particular player should gain more votes just because more people have posted, if u get what i mean...
I dunno if this makes sense or not..more likely not
Carry on

Yes that is how you have to do it. Makes no sense the way it is now. Each game has to be worth equal weight, the fact that a different number of people give their votes each week stuffs it up. You have to average it out somehow or it is pointless.stonedpies wrote:Can i offer a suggestion....would it be more reasonable to tally all the votes after a particular rd and then give the votes as a 3, 2, 1....I mean say if one round josh pulled 40 votes from the votes given by us, swanny 35, heater 30, johnno 23 etc etc then for that round give josh the 3 , swanny 2, Heater 1 for that particular round..

I would do it as, everyone gives their 3-2-1 for the round and you tally that up, then:
Most votes for the round gets 5 points
2nd most votes gets 4 points
3rd most votes gets 3 points
4th most votes gets 2 points
5th most votes gets 1 point
That way each round is worth the same no matter how many people post their votes.
