Marc Murphy and Dean Polo were both awarded a rising star nominations after playing one game and they were all the next best thing.
Pendles has come in and played three solid games, not in the fashion Dale Thomas came in but has set a good foundation for himself to become a 200+ game player for the B&W. He has been dominating in the VFL, racking up 30+ possies on a number of occasions and was unlucky not to have had 5 or 6 games to his name already in a team that is sitting third on the ladder.
Should get a nomination after this week and is worthy of whatever praise he gets.
Having said that, to keep his spot he must keep performing in the ones with blokes like Holland and Swan coming back in the side and Davies, Rowe and Iacobucci all having solid peformances in the VFL.
