It has been revealed on the official AFL website that Melbourne have given Collingwood permission to speak to Woewodin. This rumour had been around the traps for a couple of weeks now, especially on talkback radio Sport 927. Seems that it might come true if we can negotiate terms with the player and then satisfy the Demons with the appropriate compensation. The Demons need some salary cap relief hence their willingness to dispatch him.

Woewodin is just the player to provide midfield support to Bucks, Lica and Obree.

would be happy if he came to the pies. MUCH better player than caracella or johnson. melb need key backmen - maybe ben kinnear?

Channel 9 Victoria have just run the story. Apparently, if we can come to terms, then we get him for a first round draft pick.

Not bad, if he can recapture some form (and I'll have to withdraw my comments about him being the most undeserving Brownlow medalist in a decade).

I just saw channel 9 news and from what i understand Melbourne have come to us for trade talk, and on Channel News they said we would probably swap a draft pick(16th i think or something like that).
At the moment WoeWodin is overseas and isnt happy about it, but i think he will come around.

yep, pick 16.

frankly, melb deserve to lose him after the way they've treated him.

Woewodin will be good at Collingwood simply because we need more blonde players out there.

Aestically speaking, it would look better on the field. Image

I think we need more bald players. Paint their heads red (or yellow) and confuse the opposition into thinking they're the football.

Woewodin still would be the most undeserving Brownlow Medallist, since he won that Brownlow at Melbourne.

We need to clone Ben Kinnear, as we seem to be trading him every which way possible.

by all accounts he is disgusted, and rightly so, by the way melbourne have treated him this trade period, so I reckon he's a good chance to go, if not to us to someone else, and if we can get him for pick number 16, let's go for it!!

Over-Rated....YES....but still a damn good player, a bit up and down of late but some of his good games were inspirational and IMO a nose in front of Caracella as a player. The change would do him good so I'm going to say a couple prayers tonight.Nightie night.
