The Dees' red jumper would have made life a lot easier for everyone. All that talk about jumper clashes earlier in the year, and then 2 teams play that you can hardly tell apart. It makes the blokes running the show look bloody stupid.

We have a perfectly good clash strip, the black stripes on white (1990 style) instead of the regular white stripes on black

Was listening to 3AW this afternoon and they discussed this.

Apparently freo were asked by the AFL to wear their white kit and they didn't want to.

Piss OFF AFL, BLACK & WHITE STRIPES FOREVER!

We would only ever need the clash strip against the Kangaroos...who hardly even wear their traditional jumper anymore. Therefore it is a non-issue. The roo's wear their alternate strip against us and enjoy the gate money we provide them. Seems fair.

Against all other sides, it is a complete non-issue. Perhaps if the AFL accepted our suggestion about the reverse stripes, it would alleviate clashes with dark topped teams like Melbourne.

Exactly. There are 15 other teams and we can only play eleven of them at their home ground.

4 have to miss out.

I thought at first it would be difficult to tell them apart, but I had no problem at all, but I too have a 106cm HD plasma tv.

I love the black on white as our alternative strip, it looks very striking.

I have a 68cm CRT and have no desire to pay loads of cash for something with a life span of 3-5 years. Considering the crap camera work, I just focused on the shorts to tell the difference between the Dee's and the shockers.

Oh. the other way was to look at the team with the ball
