One of the superstars of modern football, Nathan Buckley is considered one of the best players of all time.
With his precise right boot and wonderful ability to lead, Buckley is right up there with the true legends of AFL.

THE KING RETURNS
Yeppers he's back folks, the first appearance in 2007 of our Skipper, the great Nathan Buckley. I saved the money I usually spend on cheap liquor and lapdancers to be able to witness the return of the great man and as painful as it was, the enormous sacrifice was worth it. The leadership, desire and silky smooth skills all remain - 15 touches, all of them class, a couple of tackles, a trademark smother, some massive atmosphere from the Magpie faithful and a big toothy winners grin from the Skipper made for an awesome return in a great team performance. He made a visit to Lexus for a quick chat onstage afterward, spoke concisely and intelligently and dealt with the knuckledragging intruders who kept interrupting with drunken dribble with patience and class. First time I've heard him speak live, very impressive.
Here's hoping Bucks can remain fit and firing for the rest of the year and add a dynamic we've been missing heading into September.
Welcome back Champ....We missed ya.
