NBB Player Poll for 2007:

The results of our 'which player to sponsor in 2007 poll' are as follows:

John Anthony - 11 votes
Nick Maxwell - 4 votes
No player preference - 12 votes

Although I am a huge fan of Nick Maxwell's and my preference is to continue to support him via our sponsorship - he is now a member of 'The Leaders' sponsorship group which puts him in the most expensive category. So taking into account the price, comments around NBB supporting 'up-and-coming' players and the majority vote - the player we will be sponsoring in 2007 is:

JOHN ANTHONY

I hope everyone will get on board and support NBB's sponsorship of John in season 2007. I'm sure we all have our favourite players, and those we would love to sponsor (and not sponsor!), but it is important as an online community that firstly we do give everyone a say and then secondly we go with the majority vote.

So good luck to John in season 2007.

2007 NBB Sponsorship Requirements:

PAYMENT:
The Club require us to pay for our sponsorship in two instalments - the first on application and the second on or before 2nd August 2007. To ensure we receive the player of our choice, our application needs to be into the Club by Friday 12th January 2007.

I realise this is a rather expensive time of the year (with Santa visiting and the odd drink or two required on New Year's Eve!) but it would be appreciated if those able to could make their sponsorship payment prior to 12th Jan 07. Please PM me for bank account and/or postal details.

We are still approx $100 short of our target - and of course the more members of NBB that would like to be involved the better! Please also PM me if you would like to pledge an amount and be involved (don't forget you can win some fantastic raffle prizes and get a personalised sponsorship certificate). Remember you can participate for as little as $10 and still be involved in all the raffle prizes. Just PM me for further details if needed.

NEW FORUM NAME:
We will also now need a new name for John Anthony's Forum here on NBB. Please post any suggestions here. I will take responsibility for picking the best names and placing them in a Poll early in the new year. (Apologies in advance if your forum name is not chosen for the Poll as we will need to draw the line somewhere! :) ).

Thanks again to those who have already registered their participation.

Here's to a successful 2007 for both the Collingwood Football Club as a whole and our newly sponsored player, John Anthony.

Congratulations to Nick for being in the leadership group, and to John for being our sponsored "hero"- looking forward to seeing him wear the black and white.
