Chin up Norm. My Mum got the BC and after major surgery she got the all clear. That was 10 years ago now. Just needs a regular check up.

My Uncle served in Vietnam and was part of the coms team on HMAS Vendetta, he was exposed to ridiculous amounts of radiation just doing his job. He fought off Leukemia, hitched up with a lovely lady and travelled the world. Five years later it popped up again. He had such a great time with Rhonda that he didn't need to fight so hard and it took him.

Just goes to show how fragile life is.
Live and love like there is no tomorrow.

Good point Culprit. Don't wait until you have enough money to start enjoying your life and the people around you.

sad news all the best to his family & friends. did anyone hear on the news last week that they think the flu virus will kill cancer they have tryed it on rats with great results. lets hope. we all know someone close with this terrible condition.

Cancer..without encouraging a morbit thread...my Sis died of the filthy desease when she was 35.....

I'm not religous necessarilly...but I believe in fate........

Died of a heart attack on arriving at hospital. No other details yet.
