Daughter number 2 is really looking forward to taking my granddaughter to a winners circle, hopefully at the Adelaide game in May. Keeping it for the kids is a wondeful idea, as it can be a bit scary when drunks and bad language are involved.

magpie_1983, hope you are talking about flares as in trousers and not the soccer type of flares, I think they could hurt someone in the wrong hands.

I can't imagine the flares (of the firey variety) would be allowed in this winners circle.

I could be wrong, I was wrong once... *w*

*silly edit mistake*

Thanks PP

Flares, swearing? That sounds like a true winners circle, who cares about the kids

Hope you get kicked out and banned for life.
Flares, only idiots would put others in the vicinity of 1,000 degrees Celsius.

How many cops on that bridge? I assume youre talkin about the footbridge which accesses MCG to Vodafone Arena?
I usually take the route along the road back to Richmond Station.
(ps: its probably real dumb of me to talk this stuff on a public forum but oh well.  lol)

Tess - i am just a Collingwood fan who has been going to Magpie matches for many years, week in week out despite the shithouse results our team served up (think 1999  ). So before you question my passion, i travel a fair way for these games!

I don't get this obsession with lighting flares. Don't you think us Collingwood folk have a bad enough reputation without doing something that is perceived to be dangerous like that. Can't you see that it will only turn bystanders and parents against the winners circle?

How many people does it take to tell you it's a silly idea before you actually take notice?
How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say?
