Are you serious??? He's a beautiful disposer of the ball. The reason he turns it over at the moment is because of poor decision making and not having adjusted completely to the pace of the game. These are all things that can be easily fixed with more experience.mudlark wrote:My opinion of pendles is that he is a poor disposer of the ball, turns it over as much as any of our worst offenders and looks very slow which compromises his ability to think quickly. Deadly serious mate. I think you've got wrapped up in all the hype and got blinded by the fancy box. He was very ordinary last week and got wrapped up to be the match winner and ditto this week,.... in MY opinion.Harvey wrote:Are you serious??? He's a beautiful disposer of the ball. I never rapped him up to be a match winner last week nor this week. I don't deny that he is turning the ball over on a number of occasions. But like I said, this is due to lack of experience rather than technique in his kicking.mudlark wrote:Deadly serious mate. Some of his kicks to leading forwards were sublime. Beautifully weighted and incredibly easy to mark on the lead. If you can't see that, then you're the one who's blinded.

I WILL see him live at the gabba and hopefully the geelong game in july and I truly hope I am wrong and I couldn't see the forest for the trees, but I did see him live at carrara against the roos and my opinion was formed from that game.I'm not saying he is a bad player .Far from it, just that he looked slow and his disposal wasn't up to the hype I'd read so much about and I put it down to early days ,don't worry. There has been improvement since that night, but not to the extent that some ppl say he is the next John Greening. What I'm saying is that I would like to see him harder at the ball, similar to Dale Thomas and Heater.I'm sure it will come.Eventuarleextcc wrote:you need to see him playing live not on the tv. silk, pure class

[quote="Cam"]Pendlebury is a lace out deliverer ala Simon Black. Not sure who people are confusing him with disposal wise.[/quot
When such a"pure silk" disposer of the the ball gathers, runs to 25 meters,on his prefered side ,under absolutely no pressure at all and then misses the goal by 2 meters to put his side further in front, I think the other side of the coin is entitled to be looked at.This is certainly not confusion Cam, it is exasperation.

The kid is our Dal Santo, and will develop over time to be a champ. His ability to move through traffic into space, puts him well ahead of some of our senior players. Perhaps any poor disposal is related to poor presentation by forward targets. This kid will be a part of the back bone of our team for years to come.
Is there any place you would rather be, than with me at the MCG?
