For those who haven't heard, Iacobucci will be playing with the Northern Bullants (affiliated with Carlton) in the VFL this season.

Good luck to the Booch, bit hard done and unlucky at Pieland.

The Booch was very popular at Burbank Oval and will be missed and should prove a formidable foe.

I wonder what influence Greg Judas Swann had on this move?

Won our best player at Williamstown which for a second or third year player often isn't the greatest honour, not sure he won the club b&f.

I'm little confused as I was sure he was rookie drafted by Geelong, then a few weeks later he's at the Bullants. Not sure if I read wrong about the Geelong deal, or what happened there. I'm not sure if he was offered a position with Williamstown and chose not to stay or if he simply was on his bike once he was dropped by the Pies.

Yakka trained with Geelong but they rookie listed Joel Reynolds ahead of him.

Booch never won a Williamstown B&F. Last year's B&F was Steven Greene, the 2005 award going to Jeremy Dukes and 2004 was Brad Lloyd.

Seems wise for delisted players to go to non-aligned clubs where they are guaranteed a good go. Port should develop these sorts of players and give them the best chance to get a second chance at AFL.
