Return of The Big V - 26th May.

As some of you may not be aware, State Footy is still alive and well, albeit at VFL, SANFL and WAFL level.

This year, the Big V hosts the WAFL. The game is to be played on Saturday, May 26th at TEAC Oval, and is normally televised live on ABC-TV.

With the VFL entering week two of the season, all VFL listed players are vying for selection to the initial squad.

However, the WAFL have already named their squad, and there are some interesting names amongst them:

EAST FREMANTLE - Shane Woewodin, Andrew Foster, Theo Adams, Jamie McNamara, Andrew McCarrey, Harry Taylor

PEEL THUNDER - Daniel Haines

PERTH - Justin Sprigg, Chris Bossong, Aaron Zucconi, Jarrod McCorkell

SOUTH FREMANTLE - Adam Hay

SUBIACO - Darren Rumble, Aidan Parker, Marc Webb, Allistair Pickett, Jarrad Schofield, David Mapleston, Luke Newick, Blake Broadhurst

SWAN DISTRICTS - Adam Lange, Josh Roberts, Tallan Ames
