Priddis is 44 in june ! acted as surf club hanger 1# in Puberty Blues!KYPREO wrote:Don't think Priddis is eligible.DaicosMagic wrote:Pendles and Priddis for Rising Star. Priddis has a brilliant team around him, like Headland did in 2002-03 when he looked like a champion. Pendles is a better talent overall.

Re: Does Pendles need another gear?
A bit like James Hird.cfc2009-10-11-12 wrote:My main concern although he has shown alot of promise is that he only seems to be one paced, by that I mean he always looks like he is in cruise control - Sure his disposal and ability to make space for himself is great to watch but I'm interested to know whether people think he may need to get a 2nd and 3rd gear to become exceptionally good...
Thoughts?

I have no wish to compare a first year player with the player voted the best wingman of all time, its unfair.
BUT, I remember when Keith Grieg first came to notice, Mike Williamson said that he moved like a panther. Some people have said that Pendlebury moves like a panther.
Watching Grieg or Polly Farmer was like watching a game in slow motion because they had the cat-like reflexes to sum up a situation and deliver the ball with ease. It's an optical illusion. Similarly watching Pendlebury reminds me of them.
I believe that the club that produced such a great group of wingmen - Merritt, Millane, Brown, Wright, Healey, Barham - has produced another.

Has he got a nickname yet. I've been calling him silky because he is so smooth in the way he moves.

Pendles better than Judd?
I was watching the Matrix today and what he did was incredible.
I reckon he will be as good or better than Judd
