I also love his size. He reminds me physically of a young Chris Tarrant (this is body shape now ability)...He has put on a bit of bulk over off-season and it is evident in his attack on the footy, Last year he was soft, this year he is gutsy. I think he will become a very well-built footballer and build up like Tarrant did. He also reminds me physically of a young Nick Dal Santo who was very very scrawny but has not really filled out to be a great size. Going to be a great player for us, hopefully better than Ellis.

Too early to tell, everyone always said Ellis was 2-3 years off. But im very very very happy with Pendlebury and i reckon Hawthorn would be wishing they took him instead at the moment. Too early to call on Ellis just yet but. Wouldvnt give up Pendles for the world however.

Forget about Ellis. The interesting thing is that Pendles has actually surpassed Daisy in his development at Collingwood. Mark him down for a brownlow now.

like David Parkin was over Dale Thomas last week, Tim Watson, Bruce and David were salvating over Pendlebury, even calling him Pendles on a couple of times.

I get the feeling were not the only ones excited about this prospect.

Nevermind Ellis, If you were to re-do the draft right now, Pendles would go #1 hands down. Finds his own ball, doesnt squib, beautiful skills and composed in traffic....The Panther...i love it.

His poise, vision and decision making are just sublime, absolutely beautiful to watch and has the makings of a top flight, elite player of the AFL.

So far so good and should only get better and better.
