Thats actually what i came on here to say. I only think Harry has a bit more pace and agility. He is one tough customer to contend with.

I like Harry but....

Harry O'Brien has become something of a cult figure, he's got enormous potential, he's strong, courageous and quick. Unfortunately, he has a bad habit of taking the wrong option and creating more strife when a simpler play is required. Since he has come back from his shoulder injury some weeks back he hasn't been as reliable as we need down back. His game on Goodes was appalling, and almost cost us the game. As much as i like him I reckon we'd be better off atm with Rhyce or possibly Cox in the side instead. What do others reckon?

I agree totally.

He makes more work for himself and the team unnessecarily. He doesnt take the logical option in play and at times is sort of painful to watch.

agree, lost his jinga atm. maybe just a confidence thing. i have reflected on this previously. i think he gets out of position too much for a backman. it looks like he is doubling back a bit. but he's young, he'll learn.

I don't like saying it either, but Harry has really struggled.

His game against Melbourne was quite good, but struggled a little last night.

Does tend to give away a few free kicks through indecision, and they can end up being pretty costly.

Not sure who you'd replace him with though... Shaw should get another crack, but is a completely different player to Harry. I think Cox should get the nod (can play as a key defender on one of their forwards).

I think Harry was a bit hard done by last night. I don't think he is a run with player atm and half back flank is his go'
