Lets make a Pendlebury/Thomas Forum. :)

What a player, he and DT are the best youngstars i have seen at the club.

Lets hope they can have nice careers(12- 15 yaers) for us.

I agree, but let's not forget the role of MM. For a couple of weeks now on the sunday footy show BT has commented that there is not a coach in the league as good as MM in developing young players.

Just love the way this kid is coming along at the moment.

At this stage he has future champion written all over him and we couldn't be asking anything ore from him than he is giving us right now.

His vision, decision making and skills are just exquisite.

A superb talent.

Lets not forget Alan Richardson either...wasn't he the original guy appointed to develop youngsters?

I thought I heard somewhere he was re-signed. This is a great thing and also good for a kid's confidence knowing we were keen to get another deal. He certainly looks the goods. Seems to be improving each week, though the last couple I haven't been able to see. But from all reports, fantastic.

Anyone noticed that if he keeps this rate of goal-kicking up, he'll have almost 30 goals by seasons end...last 3 yrs in a row, Taz only kicked 36 and led our goal-kicking in 2 of them.

Great call. Even though Richo didn't make these kids, they were stars when they first walked in the door. But Richo has taken great U18s and moulded them into very good AFL players. Alan has help them make the giant step up from junior footy and turned it into a walk in the park for these boys.

Good stuff Pendles, I think there would have been a few clubs looking very closely at trying to snaffle him away.

Pendles can't be that slow...

Post by Zakal »

A few times tonight i thought he did things which must have required a certain degree of pace, but all the while looked like he was moving in slow motion.

A boundary throw-in in Freo's 50....just took the ball out of the ruck on the left side of the pack, ran thru the pack, and then opened up a gap to the chasing players in lack half a second flat.

Another instance with the ball rebounding from our 50, started a few yards (and stationary) behind a freo player on the run, caught him by the time he got rid of the ball.

Another one streaming out of defence...with some freo guy in hot pursuit, the guy is about half a meter out of reach of pendles...so what does Scotty do? has a bounce...keeps running....has another bounce...keeps running...has another bounce!...then kicks it.

Just seems to completely ignore the opposition as though he already knows what they are going to do. Nothing fazes him.

But back to my main point...all these actions looked like he was Neo from the Matrix. Time was slowed right down, and he just ran thru them all, but was never caught. He must have more pace than he lets on given his composure.
